Where'd you get it?
Ordering a custom knife
You may have noticed that I don't have many knives available for sale, that's because most of the work I do is custom ordered. If you're interested in owning one of my knives a custom order is probably the best way to get exactly what you want. Here's how:
- Take a look through the pictures of my work here and on my Instagram Page so you can get an idea of what I do.
- Hit that contact button on the top of this page to send me a message!
Here are some examples
These three knives are all 240mm (9.5 inch) gyutos
This knife is made from 1095 and 15N20 carbon steels and is an example of my lazy twist damascus. This one also has an S-grind which is a slight hollow above the edge that helps with food releasing from the blade. A knife like this would be $750
This gyuto is made from 416 stainless steel cladding and 52100 core and is an example of my stainless san-mai. This knife has a convex grind and like all my gyutos it's very thin behind the edge for great cutting performance. A knife like this would be $650
This one is made from 1095 carbon steel and is an example of a honyaki style gyuto. This knife has a convex grind and a clay tempered and acid etched hamon. The handle is a curved hybrid style. A knife like this would be $600
All custom knives come with a fitted poplar saya standard, other saya options are available.
