I’ve had this idea since I first saw the gem bronze material that I used to make it. Gem bronze grows large crystalline formations as it cools and when you polish and etch it you can see the crystals on the surface. This whole design is inspired by crystal shapes. For the body of the handle I used synthetic opal which is made by a small lab in Germany and has an amazing depth and luster when you see it in person.

The blade is S90V super steel, a stainless alloy that has been tested as one of the highest edge holding steels available. It is ground to be very thin behind the edge and has a strong distal taper, this is a thin slicer blade!

Comes with a fitted poplar saya but I didn’t have time to photograph that yet.
